VOXDEI 2.5

The digital Prie-dieu “VoxDei 2.5” explores The Dead Internet theory as a satirical reflection of contemporary digital culture. Once a space of open communication, the internet has become a network of algorithms, bots, and generated content where the human voice loses its significance. The installation questions this “death” of the internet not as an end, but as its fusion with everyday life, becoming an integral part of ourselves rather than a separate technology.
In the form of a digital religion, technology takes on the role of spiritual authority. The ritual begins with a parody of the sacrifice of privacy, leading the visitor toward a “divine” algorithmic response — a random phrase blending irony, critique, and absurdity. This satirical rite invites reflection on how the internet is becoming a new form of spirituality, built on algorithms, propaganda, and empty promises of salvation.
